Camp Theme: Seeing with End-times Eyes

Four eschatological visions from the Book of Revelation to shape our perspective and priorities

Camp Speaker: Ben Ho

- Born in Singapore and migrated to Brisbane at age 12, where his teenage years in youth group at CCCB (Chinese Christian Church of Brisbane) shaped his understanding of Scripture and the gospel. His faith became personal after high school, following time in the Singapore army and first year of university.

- Married to Faith, a wonderful partner in life and gospel ministry. They have four daughters: Anastasia, Maia, Abigail (who died at 4 days of age and is now with the Lord), and Zoe.

- Trained as a physiotherapist and worked in a hospital before God placed a conviction in his heart to go into full-time ministry. Completed a 2-year ministry apprenticeship at FOCUS Church (UNSW) and earned a Bachelor of Divinity from Moore Theological College.

- Served as a pastor in St Lucia Evangelical (SLE) Church from 2009 to mid-2023. Since July 2023, planted and pastored Centenary Evangelical Church in Brisbane, Australia.

FAQs

Q) Who can I contact if I need to get in
touch with someone

A) Do email us at camp@thecrossing.com.sg
and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Q) Can I join the church camp even if I’m not in a CG yet?

A) Yes! You are most welcome to join us. During registration,
simply select the "Not currently in CG" option.

Q) What if I can only come later or I need to leave earlier?

A) The full camp fees still apply. Please indicate your required
ferry timing in the registration form when signing up.

Q) What if I really want to come for camp but I can’t confirm my
attendance now?

A) Please email us at camp@thecrossing.com.sg
and we will get back to you to discuss your options.

Q) What if I fall sick just before camp?

A) If you're feeling unwell before camp, please prioritize your health and the wellbeing of others by withdrawing from camp. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance when you register, as this will allow you to claim a refund of your registration fees. While the decision to withdraw may be difficult, it helps protect our camp community, especially those who are more vulnerable. If you need financial assistance with the insurance, please reach out to us.

Q) Would I need to share a double bed with someone else as an individual?

A) No. Every individual would have their own single bed.

Q) If I sign up as an individual, would I be able to choose my
roommates?

A) Individuals would be allocated their roommates of the same gender. As much as possible, we would pair you with someone of the same congregation, and CG. If you are new to TCC or are uncomfortable being paired with someone unfamiliar, do put in a request in the registration form under Special Request -> Rooming Request

Q) Would I be able to request for additional beds for my family?

A) If you require single bed for your child, please select the
child with bed option.

Q) Would there be Cots provided by the hotel?

A) The hotel would not be providing any cots, we recommend bringing your own travel cot.

Q) Would I be able to extend my stay ahead or after camp?

A) You are welcome to extend your stay 1 day before and/or after
camp. The extended day would also include breakfast.

It is an option in the signup form.

Q) Are there any subsidies?

A) Yes, a $100 subsidy is available for:

  • Youth (12–18 years old as of 5 June 2026)
  • Tertiary students
  • Non-working adults

Please select "Subsidized Adult" during registration to receive the discounted rate.

Q) Would there be financial assistance if I am unable to pay for
the full amount required?

A) Yes. On the registration form, select the option for financial assistance. You'll receive a special subsidy code that allows you to register for free initially. Save this code for checkout. After registration, we will
